The pipes

My friend and colleague Alex Schouvaloff has just finished restoring the pipes to their former glory and they are stunning. He painstakingly removed the appalling silver paint to expose the original designs, regilded them, cut new stencils and painted in the all the decorative detail. As soon as the crisis is over and we can return to the church we will set about reassembling the organ.
