Two of my pieces have been selected for the Bath Society of Artists
prestigious 2026 open exhibition.
The Victoria Art Gallery, Bath, will be hosting the exhibition from Saturday 19th September until Saturday 7th November.
The chosen pieces are from a current project looking at the trees of the district of Shrewsbury in which I live, called Cherry Orchard. This is a Victorian conservation area close to Shrewsbury Abbey that defies its name due to the lack of cherry trees.

Another of my drawings, Stiperscape No 7, is currently on display and available for sale at Write Here, Shrewsbury.
My recent exhibition at Shrewsbury’s Bear Steps Gallery was a look back over a long career in art; featured in the show were prints of illustrations I drew for newspapers and football matchday programmes.
In the early 1970s I drew player portraits for WBA’s Albion News’ ‘Sketchbook Feature’. In 1978 the Birmingham Sports Argus printed an FA cup semi final special for WBA v Ipswich Town; I was commissioned to illustrate a piece highlighting the clash of the two great centre forwards,
Cyrille Regis and Paul Mariner.
These pieces are printed on best quality fine art paper in limited editions of ten. They are window mounted to accommodate standard frame sizes and space is available for short, personalised messages.
